Research Topics

1. Proposal of the system for integrative medicine by the survey of its utilization and provision, and analysis of its social determinant.

2. Study on the information providing integrative medicine for the sake of proper selections by patients, the general population, and medical professionals.

3. The development of the international standard in Traditional Chinese Medicine

Research in our group is focused on integrative medicine including Kampo medicines, a Japanese herbal medicines derived from ancient Chinese medicine. We are now researching integrative medicine from the aspect of regulatory science, social science, and clinical evidence in comparison to other countries, especially East Asian countries.
