アジア各国の薬学研究者などで構成するアジア薬科大学協会（AASP）の第12回カンファレンス（大会）が2025年8月2日〜4日、日本薬科大学のさいたまキャンパス（埼玉県伊奈町）で開催された。約20カ国・地域から約500人の薬学研究者らが参加。日本、中国、韓国、フィリピン、シンガポール、インドネシア、マレーシア、タイなど各国の関係者が薬学教育の現状と課題を報告した。製薬技術や薬学教育、ヘルスケアシステムなど様々なテーマで最新の知見を共有した。

協会は薬学の研究・教育を推進する目的で2001年に設立された。中国、インドネシア、タイなど各国でカンファレンスが開催されてきた。日本国内での大会開催は今回が初めて。埼玉県の知事や伊奈町の町長らも訪れた。

シンポジウムやポスター発表と合わせて、埼玉県の川越氷川神社（川越市）や大宮盆栽美術館（さいたま市）、茨城県のツムラ漢方記念館（阿見町）や牛久大仏（牛久市）などを巡るツアーも実施されました。

 

The 12th Conference of the Asian Association of Schools of Pharmacy (AASP), was held from August 2-4, 2025, at the Saitama Campus of Nihon Pharmaceutical University / NPU (Ina Town, Saitama Prefecture). Approximately 500 pharmaceutical researchers from 20 countries and regions participated. Participants from Japan, China, South Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and many other countries reported on the current state and challenges of pharmaceutical education. They shared the latest knowledge on a variety of topics, including pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical education, and healthcare systems.

The association was founded in 2001 with the aim of promoting pharmaceutical research and education. Conferences have been held in countries such as China, Indonesia, and Thailand. This was the first time the conference hosted in Japan. The of Governor of Saitama Prefecture and the Mayor of Ina Town attended to the opening ceremony.

In addition to the symposium and poster presentations, the conference participants travelled to Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine (Kawagoe City) and Omiya Bonsai Art Museum (Saitama City) in Saitama Prefecture, also to Tsumura Kampo Museum (Ami Town) and Ushiku Buddha (Ushiku City) in Ibaraki Prefecture.
